The V-Series delivers unparalleled price performance running Websense Web Security Gateway or Websense Web Security. It is also extensible for future deployment of Websense email security and data loss prevention (DLP) solutions reducing the need to add or upgrade hardware – extending the life and value of the platform.

V-Series appliances leverage virtualization technology to deliver multiple Web security services on a single, extensible platform. When running the Web Security Gateway, for example, the V-Series consolidates URL filtering, onboard antivirus, Web reputation services, real-time content classification, real-time security scanning, enterprise-class data loss prevention, SSL inspection, and advanced application controls. This consolidated architecture offers greater flexibility and value than legacy approaches that require multiple appliances to support basic Web security services and future enhancements.

The Websense® TruHybrid™ architecture unifies management of V-Series appliances running the Web Security Gateway with Websense Web Security-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions. This integration provides customers with unparalleled flexibility to deploy a combination of appliance or SaaS platforms without the cost of managing multiple policies and reporting systems.

V-Series Appliance Options:
